Minister, Councilman and Community Leaders John and Sandra Armstrong

John, the Minister of the Church of Christ of Marlin and Sandra is the Director of the Boys and Girls Club
of Falls County and a certified childhood advocate through the State of Texas. We are the Founders of
the Marlin Renewal Outreach Center.
The reason that we founded this nonprofit is because of the need we saw in our community and
throughout the county to help those who were in need. Our goals are to win as many souls to Christ, to
help transform as many lives as we can through the teaching and preaching of God’s Word. Our love for
God and for people moves us to do whatever we can to assist those who are in need. We desire to
cultivate an environment for our community that will promote sacrificial giving to all who are in need
and trying to survive during these difficult times. We seek to bring a greater awareness to our
community concerning feeding our children, mental health, homelessness, domestic violence, child
abuse, and many other vices that are destroying our communities.
Our greatest achievements are becoming ministers of Christ, transforming lives of those whom we
minister too. A personal achievement of mine was becoming a Marine serving in the United States
Marine Corps serving my country. But the greatest accomplishment of all was me meeting and marrying
my wife, Sandra. We love horses to which we have four, we love the outdoors, camping, fishing, bike
riding and feeding the families in our community. We have a love for gardening growing fruits and
vegetables to share with our neighbors.
